The oscars

So early this morning the Oscars took place. And what a crock of shit it was. i can agree with nearly all of the winners that were there, except from The King's speech winning best film. I mean it's a good film and all but Inception truly deserved to win just because of it's sheer depth and excellent script. Many people seem to not understand Inception and i believe that it only makes it better. I mean its all about entering peoples dreams and either extracting information from them or placing an idea within their head that can change how they are as a person and the decisions that they make. That is an extremely incredible idea that could actually be used as a marketing tool against the government, how they "incept" our minds with bullshit. Then again it's just a cool film that deserved to be recognised for that with the best film Oscar but whatever. Colin Firth was exceptionally good in the King's speech but then again it's a highly Oscar driven film, as is any British monarchy film. As my mate said, they almost feel as though it's treason to not give them the film as many Oscars as possible! Fucking pathetic but oh well, it cant be changed and all i can say is that I'm extremely happy that last years best film went to the hurt locker instead of Avatar because Avatar truly is a piece of shit.
